The .50 Dollar Tree Find I’m Buying in Every Color

The $1.50 Dollar Tree Find I’m Buying in Every Color

I keep small baskets in our basement pantry with things like themed cookie cutters, mugs, silicone molds, and crafts for each holiday or season—Halloween, Easter, summer, fall, and more. I pull one out at the beginning of the season, and when we’re finished, everything goes back into its basket and into the basement until next year. This system saves me from hunting for supplies and accidentally buying duplicates.

So when I spotted Dollar Tree’s new red, white, and green holiday baskets in a TikTok video, I couldn’t help but think of my small but growing collection of Christmas items. These charming baskets could become home to everything that looks nice and works hard during the holidays and otherwise rests on the shelf year round.

Dollar Tree Holiday Baskets

  • Why I Love Them: They’re cute, sturdy, and versatile, with built-in handles and nesting storage that make them perfect for organizing pantry staples, holiday supplies, and reusable gift baskets.

Why Dollar Tree’s Bow-Themed Holiday Baskets Caught My Eye

The baskets come in a different styles, including little bow-shaped cutouts (my favorite), embossed bows, and herringbone pattern. They have built-in handles and nest together when empty, making them easy to store when not in use. The built-in handles will make it easier to carry supplies between my kitchen and basement pantry. I own similar Dollar Tree baskets with different designs, and they’re sturdy and spacious, so I expect these will be just as good.

I plan to use at least one basket for holiday cookie cutters, themed mugs, silicone molds, mini holiday games, tea light holders, and kids’ crafts. The red basket is festive and cute enough to keep out during the season, so we can easily find what we need for an afternoon of baking or crafting.

For everyday storage, I plan to buy a few white ones to match my neutral aesthetic and corral smaller bags of baking ingredients and Costco overflow.

Beyond storage, they’d also make handy, reusable bases for holiday gift baskets or neighborhood donation drives. I love the idea of filling the red and green ones with packaged, non-perishable foods, or more curated hampers, depending on where they’re going. And for donations, I’d tuck in a note saying the basket is theirs to keep and reuse.

Creating dedicated holiday baskets is one of the best habits I’ve built. And now my Christmas one will be a little cuter!
